Default Solution for cheap scion paint

I was in a minor accident with my tc and had to get some body work done. My body shop filled in the rear scion badge for me and took off the tc. The body shop also painted my entire car and put extra coats of clearcoat on it so it won't scratch as easy. The color has a lot more depth than it did before. I will post pics when it stops raining out.

did they repaint your entire car? or did they just put extra clearcoat on it? if they repainted the entire thing, did they use the factory FM paint?

I was thinking about having another clearcoat put on but I fear that it will enhance the scratches that are already on it.

They repainted the enitre car with factory flint mica paint but added a few extra coats of clear to protect the paint better. It didnt cost me anything because it was an insurance job and the body shop took care of my deductable.

If you were in a minor accident, why did they repaint the entire car?? I know you said it was an insurance job, but I doubt any insurance company is going to cover a full repaint for only minor damage. Definitely take pics of the debadged/filled back end though, that should look nice

Well I slid sideways through ice and snow so it scratched a lot of the panels. So the body shop convinced the insurance company to pay for a full repaint since the car was so new.
