Default Solutions for a scratched canister?

I was out and about on the canyon roads searching for a nice view. I pull over perpendicular to the curve, not realizing how big the drop was. And as my rear tires left the road onto the shoulder - BLAM! KRRAARRRRRAARRRR

There's a scratch on my Ti-C's canister running from halfway on the canister to right before where the exhaust tip begins. it's quite a wide scratch as well...about 2-3 inches wide. Any suggestions on how i could fix or remedy this? Even just a little bit?

You could try using chrome polish. If not, I've seen people sand down the scratched area to make it less noticeable.
BTW... Where in the Bay Area were you?
