If you are not quite sure to do this method you might seek a professional. You might and try to yahoo or google the compound method and if you need touch-up paint that matches your exact vehicle try www.paintscratch.com and they have what you are looking for. Good luck.......

actually he has a custom made scooped hood...

there's like Bzinn1 and 90 other people with the kami hood though, it's all over the CF hood thread. great quality, but comes at a price.

now that i think about it, CF and the red don't match as well as I thought it would, unless you paint down the side body lines of the hood like some people do (or with a vinyl as the cheaper people do ).

That ____ sucks. I just got keyed all down the side of my car about a month ago and it went all the way through the paint.

If its just in the clear coat it can be fixed without painting and relatively cheap. But if its into the paint then that can get expensive. especially with an rs1 too.

Damn I love rs1's this makes me wanna cry.

It will buff out. I would take it to a pro detail shop since they will know how to polish it out. I guess it would cost under $50 from what I can see.

I agree a CF hood will look better, Meguiar's Scratch X and a little elbow grease will remove that scratch. This can be found a Auto Zone or Pep Boys.
