Default SORRY another must know about Kaminari...

My parents are still against me dropping 1k and 800
totoal 1800-2200 on the Kaminari Body Kit...
They ACUALLY said they'd rather have me buy performance parts

they are concerened about how much lower it will acually be
right now bottom of front bumper to level ground
is about 2 fists and a thumb
Im guessing about a foot....

how much lower will the Kaminari be compared to stock.... compared to Lip Kit

Whats another great way to blow 1800.... on looks and/or performance..

...please i have to settle this before june...

have a nice day

If I had 1,800 to spend, I'd probably get I/H/E, springs, sways.

Or I'd save up a bit more for the TRD supercharger, and have it under warranty.

you said your parents are worried bout the looks of your car rather then the loudness that comes from performance?!

are your parents sports car owners?!

is it your money, or your parents?

I say go for what you really want, and will be happy with on your car.

Lip kit barely lowers the car at all. Looks nice, but to lower your profile, just lower the car. You'll end up spending about the same or less, and you'll get some added performance out of your modified suspension instead of just looks.

It depends on what you want. I am guessing you dont want total performance or you would not be interested in a body kit period. So it is between a balance of look and performance or just going looks. If looks is what you want go with the rims and springs or something similar. Personally i would go with saving that $2000 towards a good turbo kit or the sc if it ever comes out.

Don't go only Kaminari if you're going for show first. You'll just look fast, but have stock wheels and stock performance.

If you want to stand out, debadge the back, paint the front scion emblem black, get lowering springs, and a set of rims. Maybe if you have enough, get some 20% tint and an s2000 antenna. That should keep you well ahead of most of the tCs in your area and make you stand out.

IMHO, a Kaminari kit would only be a compliment to the mods i've stated above, I don't think it could be a stand-alone mod.
