not if done correctly.. and if you use a good clear and good paint it dosent matter what you have as your front bumper...

it will always matter. fiberglass is more likely to have rock chips because of the hardness of the material. you can use flex agents to help stop it, but it will happen more then urethane. i have been building various cars and helping friends build show cars for a little over 8 years.

streetconcept:
why not use urethane if people are willing pay for it? sure the molding process is different, but it is a little easier to make a kit.

I know I'm probably like the millionth person to say this, but I'll say it anyway...

Please make it in urethane! It'd be a real shame to see such a clean design go the way of fiberglass.

Oh and like many of the others said, I WOULD be willing to pay more for urethane as well.

you really push it taek (in good way) but I dont think we can offard makeing urethane for scion tc, they buyer is not that much yet.
