Stupid Question... (license plate bracket)
OK y'all, I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before, but I tried searching and came up empty.
I've got the eight08custom license plate bracket for the front plate (damn you: Texas Dept. of Transportation!) on my 07 tC. Went to bolt it up and noticed that there's no easy way to get it in due to the plastic piece that covers the gap between the front fascia/bumper and the chassis. I figure I'll just have to unbolt that to gain access to the inside of the lower grill, but I'm wondering...does anyone know of any easier way? I can't reach down far enough from the top to access the inside of the lower grill, but is there any other way to cheat?
BTW, I'm not lazy and I don't have a problem removing that lower plastic piece, but I'm asking because I'm hoping there's a quick way to take it on/off in case I want to cruise/park without the plate for a while. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
