im trying to swap out my stock hood to a cf hood and was wondering if its difficult to do or not. I am a newbie at this so if anyone has a step by step tutorial or if i should take it to a professional

 

Its easy 4 bolts hold the hood down, 2 on each side. You just need a second person to help hold up one side while you take the bolts out.

 

and the part in the front where the hood latches into undo some bolts there and slide it up as far as you can. this is so that your hood will lock into place, i switched my hood for a seibon cf oem hood and had problems with it latching asked around and then asked the company and that is what they told me other then that just make sure it is lined up and no big gaps, if you would like to see mine go check it out on my myspace page or http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2662369 later and good luck

 

yeah, just get a solid wrench and 1-2 other people to hold it and you are golden. Make sure you disconnect the washer fluid line too before you pop the hood off, thats really simple too, just pull the piping off of one of the connectors under the hood.. when you see it youll know what im talkin about.
