My tags rule!! hahahahah
LOL, well the new CTS motors are a lot better but steer clear of the Catera's, they are junk! I love how the new CTS's ride, the only problem I have seen are the timing chains stretching (not enough to ruin the engine, but enough to set codes and turn on the SES). I have seen some with as little as 10k miles need new chains. I am wondering if there will ever be a recall, I think there should be because it is pretty common.
If you want before and after pictures I can post some pictures of what my ride looks like currently. Mind you, the headlights are temporary until the 08 retro is completed. Tires will be here this week! Woot!

2000 catera was my first car, i will never buy another GM car or recommend them to anyone after that experience.
There are some GM vehicles you can't go wrong with. The 3.1, 3.4, and 3.8 are very solid v6's, only real problem with them is the intake leak issue. For v8's, any LS series is golden. I am obviously not a fanboy as I drive a Scion, but I do like some of them. I will eventually own a 68-72 chevy truck, and will probably put a fuel injected LS series v8 into it to be different.
What do you all think of my front negative camber?? haha
Sorry, no release pictures today. I was rubbing too bad when I left work that I had to leave it at work.
Good news: Only rubbing in rear. No rubbing in the front when doing parking lot maneuvers.
Bad news: I have to find someway to roll that lip in the rear fender. I am going to try the newspaper method, as well as putting in a flat faced screw for the rear bumper support. and once I roll it, I will add just a hair more of negative camber :D
Right now as it sits, camber is:
-2.5 degrees each side in the front.
-1.5 degrees each side in the rear.
Will adjust to -2.0 in the rear and that should be perfect. Front I will leave for now and see how the tires wear. I might pull the fender more and adjust for more positive camber.
Oh, and the tires are REAL meaty. I am lovin the stance/look. Will post pictures tomorrow I promise! If I can't do finished results tomorrow, then definitely some teasers lol.
