Default tC Fitted Car Cover

Hey Guys, I've seen the manufacturer OEM cover (http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com/MC-CIDI-BAIA.aspx), but I was wondering if there was something of good quality a little bit cheaper? I'm going to be parking my tC on a college campus in a few months, so I thought a cover would be a good investment from wandering drunks. Any suggestions are appreciated!

True, covered cars get attention, but they also are less prone to suffer from stray frisbees and footballs, etc.

have one made by wolf for my tc lol
Would you be able to link me to said cover?

umm what condition is this that you need a cover? I go to a big ___ state school UGA, with 33,000 kids and I never seen anyone with a car cover. May be find a better place to park? Park as far away as possible from random freshmen idiots? If you live off campus getting a parking permit on one of the parking decks and park all the way up top where nobody ever parks. Save you at least 100 bucks since car covers are really expensive unless you get em from walmart. I have no idea where this random football/frisbee come from because I don't see why the hell you'd park your car right next to a open ground with people doing things since thats obviously not where you should be parking.

I live at a fraternity at Purdue University. There are frequently people out in our parking lot just tossing a football around or something (especially during football season--tailgating, as I'm sure you have experienced at UGA). It's not a huge risk, but occasionally a throw will go astray or something.

I suppose a parking permit for on campus would be a decent idea, but I'd still rather have it at my house where it's convenient.

btw, Purdue has 42,000 students and parking passes are $200+ ;) Thanks for the idea though.

to be honest, the OEM one is probably your best bet.

its really nice, i've been using it for the past two weeks on my BSP here on long island. and it keeps dust/pollen/sap off my car and we've had a few thunderstorms and my car and the cover were dry and in perfect condition the next day. no water spots.

i also have 4 outside cats, and they love the lay all over my car, the cover definitely protects the car from that.

its just a really well made cover, and it fits like a glove. i suggest investing the bit more money and getting the OEM one, itll be worth it if you use it a ot in the long run.

Cool, thanks for the endorsement. It looks like that really will be the best choice. There aren't many alternatives, and the ones that are out there are of questionable quality, worse fit, and only $40ish cheaper. Might as well go OEM and make sure it lasts for a while.
