thats pretty cheap for what they were charging my insurance company..they said lower grille costed $1300 and upper cost $458.

BTW at most dealers you wont be able to buy an RS parts unless you have proof that you are an RS owner.

yeah, i can see why they wouldn't want to sell spec release parts to just any tC owner... luckily for me I used to work in parts at a toy dealer and still have all my "hook-ups" from co-workers

Honestly, I would almost be interested in selling somone my bazooka sub. It sounds good, but I need more sound. I'm thinking on 10" solobaric or something along those lines. Let me know if you're interested.

How can a grill cost that much? Is it encrusted with diamonds
It blows my mind how much they costs. Seems silly to me.

because it is for the release series. if it was affordable then everyone would have it which would make the release series not so special if everyone without a release series had the same grill. dont hate cause our grill is better than yours. lol j/k

well the price is to scare away anybody that wants to buy it. the point is to keep it limited and scion is doin a great job of that

I'm putting the RS grilles on my BSP this weekend--I'm not sure if it's been done before but I'll post pics if anyone is interested.

When a company gets smart and makes one, then what? And if they wanted to make it where we couldn't get the grille why don't they just limit it to those with the rs, i.e. check VINs? Or make the rs with different brackets to hold the grille.

^^ they are trying to limit them to only RS owners. ei: they do ask for your vin number if you try to go get one.

its the same with the xB/xA RS grilles.

btw, why haven't companies gotten smart and made one?????
(insert X-files conspiracy music)

to me it ain't worth it and they are seriously losing money this way

as if we really want one people are going to be getting jacked (not by me) but u do understand right

these are going to be like the ITR engines or the b20 craze for the HONDAS , I just don't see why

someone is going to make replicas soon enough

and when this occurs I shall be first in line
