Neothin, what did are you going to use to seal the headlights? I just got mine in, ripped out the LEDs and resealed them. Unfortunately I realized lastnight there is a little bit of condensation in them. Tips, pointers?

I'm going to add some black sealant to the headlights to help with the condensation problems. I also took a trip to payless shoes today and got a couple of silica gel packets from the shoes. I'm going to put those in there too.

no, i havent pulled teh clamps off today. Im busy with school + work all day today (typing from class right now haha) so i dont have time.

Just use clear silicone from Home depot and seal the lips good. Make sure there is no opening. Even an opening of a needle hole can intake moisture. As far as silica gel, you can get them on ebay. Cheap. You'll need alot of them

after a fiasco known as the last couple of days, i got the lights done today. it's amusing to think of.... but the show i went went to today.... yeah.. i was putting my headlights together at the same time the show registration ended... and i still won 2nd place mild tC

anyways, seeing as i was in such a rush this morning assembling the lights, i forgot to bring my camera (so no pics from the show) but i did go get some tonight at a friends house...

and some of the crappy cutoff (to the left is my buddy's sonar projectors on his xB)-

now i know you all are going to ask this, so i'll just answer it right now.... yes, i know i only have 1 halo running on each side and no my sidemarker doesnt light up...

1. i had a boo boo with the driver side hi beam halo and cracked it (____ed me the hell off) so i just didnt attach the passenger side so it looked even. makes me unique i guess. the look has to grow on me though.

2. there are no sidemarker bulbs ^^ i put whelen strobes in there.

Hey, can you remove the LED sockets? I know you can remove the lights, but can you remove the ugly piece holding them on the headlight? that might fix the fitment issues...curious..

Man... Those XB projectors are great. Much Much Much better than the ones for tC. Now, why don't aftermarket for tC has cut off like the ones for Xb?

the led sockets dont actually interfere with the eyelid... the eyelid is just curved incorrectly.

actually. i didnt even use a sealant or anything to hold the eyebrows in place. they actually hold themselves in perfectly sandwiched by the bezel and the outer lens. i just crefully held them in and closed them up. of course i have to cut down the clips that hold the eyebrow on the stock bezel but other than that they fit fine. they dont snap in or anything but they "fit". and fit snug. no movement and i've put the lights thru their shaking paces before i sealed them, after they were rebaked and after hitting hard corners once installed. good to go.

Nice work!! I want day pics man, without any of the lights on! The set I'm working on won't be done until the 1st

BTW* I bet you could contact umnitza and look into a replacement ring. Send them that broken one and see if they have one with the same diameter

OR - I have one halo ring you can have Harrison. I broke my other one when I was trying to put them back together after trying the same thing as you.
I ended up saying to hell with it and bought another set since I'm too annoyed with my project so for now I won't mess with them. =P

Good job by the way; your lights look really good. (=
I'm jealous.
