I don't know if this info will help anyone, but I called the place, they are located in CITY OF INDUSTRY. This grill is sold for 65 (tax included)! Instead of having it shipped and paying 80.

OMG! for finding out. I figured they were in CA since they charge CA tax, but didn't know if they allowed local pick up (as most ebay sellers don't)

Can you PM me their number? I'm so picking this up!

There's been some questions why I destroyed the OEM grill, and also if I had any problems installing the VRD grill.

Well it's not like I broke it on purpose, it was pretty stubborn to take out. The top grill has these impossible screws you gotta take out first and then u really have to bash/push/bend/pull/fight/twist/grab to get the thing off. So in the process it broke.

The VRD just popped into place. Snap. Snap. Snap. Done.

You don't need to take off the bumper...

and there are no screws that hold the grill on, they just clip in from behind...

this is one of the easiest installs ever, a blind drunk monkey could do it

if you're not super ultra ocd, then yea the bottom is just like installing oem, just pop it in. the oem grill pops out and can be popped back in no problem, it's kinda like snap on legos. no need to remove bumper. TruAmbitionz just popped in his $57 vrds with no problems. he even posted pics. all it is, is just clips.

but if you are super ultra ocd and get a mold that is 1% off it's a different story, but the chance of that happening to anyone is only 1%. very very very small margin. but a margin is still a margin. that is the only time someone will take off the front bumper. as I was one of those people, but like i said this only applies to super ultra ocd people.

the other 99% should be happy with their purchase and the install should go smoothly.

Everything that is in this thread has already been covered from top to bottom in great detail. all 5 pages.

You don't need to reach any clips, just take your foot and kick in your oem grill.

There's no hinges they're just tabs. But honestly just carefully push out the top grill. Once its out you will be able to reach in through the hole in the top grill and pop out the bottom grill. Then snap new bottom grill in, and then the top. That's all

You hafta push kinda hard I guess...
No there's no screws.
And yes you have to take off the diversion panel if you have one, it will make taking the top grill off easier.
If you want to be able to make putting the new bottom grill in just simply take off your 2 splash guards under the car and jack it up a little so you can get under there.

There's a couple kids that live by me that bought these, ill get ahold of them and have em post up some better pix.

Now that I think about it I ordered my "VRD" grill off ebay too about a year ago. I now am having to repaint it because through the winter the black started to chip leaving what looks like shiny aluminum behind it. So maybe these are also these knockoffs and this is the problem with them.

Does anybody with legit VRD's have this flaking problem?

I know I'm going to just strip it all off with a sandblaster and primer/paint/clear it myself.
