Default Tint Problem

I just got my windows tinted monday. Rolled them down this morning for the first time everything was great. Got out of work later today and rolled them down, and when i went to roll them up my weather trim on the inside of the window rolled up with the window. Completely tearing it up. I called the dealer and brought it up there. He blamed it on the tint. Anyone got any suggestion or have had the same problem. I dont think its the tint there selling brand new tc's on there lot with aftermarket tint. So i will find out later today if they are going to fix it under waranty or not. Any help would be appreciated. John

When ever I've had my cars tinted, they push the inside strip down into the window.. after a few days you can wind the window down, and pop it back up, then wind the window back up..

not sure if this is the case with a tC though.. but if it is, the window could of caught it and pulled it up...

tinter may have removed that piece during installation.. which may have caused the problem.

my tinter doesn't do that and instead cut and pushed the tint inside as scionlarry mentioned.

dunno.. just hope it gets fixed.
