Default Tints

Hey I just wanted to see if I should go with 20% for the back 3 windows and 35% for the front two windows when I tint them. I can't go with much darker in the front because they're pretty strict around here with tickets and all about the tints. I have BSP, anyone else have 20/35 or anything similar? Does it look good? Just wanted to know cuz I can't find any pics of how it'd look. Thanks for the input.

sounds about good. I have 35% all around but want to go with something a bit darker. Might be going 20 all around soon.

I have 20% on the hatch window and 35% on the rest. The 20% on the back does make the 35% look darker. BUT, if I could do it all over again I would do 5% on the hatch and 35% on the rest. (Stupid Cali laws.)

yeah i have 35% rear and 17% on the sides and front. i havent been pulled over, but coppers in cali are pretty ____ and will pull you over for about anything. its light enough to see out your own window at night, and not much glare on the mirror at night.

however, i would suggest you get the rear quarters tinted at 17 and the fronts at 35. i kinda regret not getting it darker.

damn. with teh guy who went with 17% in the front and 35% on the hatch?...shouldnt it have been the other way around? im just asking. i thought you'd want the darker on the hatch and lighter up front to elude the coppers lol. but yea I was thinking about 18 or 20 in the back three and 35% in the front. my friend has it on his SI and it looks decent. Although his car is silver and mine is black...post up pics if u guys have them of your cars. thanks a lot for responding!

heres a pic for you. keep in mind the pic is at an angle, so when you look from the side its gonna be a little darker. also the sunroof is open so light is entering there too.

...but, it does look cool.

The best tint all around imo would be 20% all around or 15% all around. Depending on where you live, cops might be dicks about it but it don't matter.........I got caught 3 times already and I just put em back on. Having no tint is a pain cause of the lame sun.

cant really get a decent picture of tint because of angles and flash and everything. some spots always look lighter than they are IRL.

I have 20% all the way around: here are some pics from different angles so you can get an idea (they are 1024x768 and I dont feel like resizing and reuploading them nor to i want to kill the load time of this thread so ill just link to them)

but yeah, some pics the tint looks really dark on like the front windows but then on others it looks really light... you dont get that when looking at it in person, it looks the same all around.

yeah, it was horrid here for a good month but then people focused on graduation and summer time and happy thoughts, but its still not the same as it used to be. We will never forget tho.. there is still a huge flower arrangement/monument in the middle of campus that people still bring flowers too pretty much daily. I don't go to campus much anymore since its summertime but yeah.. there is that sadness aura.
