Legailty depends on where you live. I'm in Cali and the law is supposedly 70%, but many cars come with 70% already so the cops ticket for ANYTHING on the sides. 30% is asking for trouble. I have 18% all around and that is asking for double trouble.

As for Colorado, apparently you are not allowed to have anything on the side windows, so any tint will be illegal. But personally, I care more about looks than legality.

Nice looking tC! The law here in PA is also 70% all around, but the general rule of thumb is that cops will not ticket you for anything 30% or lighter, unless your really doing somthing stupid to give them a reason to hang you! I also guess other states could be harder on enforcing the law than others!

until i get pulled over i'm not going lighter. plus you see all these peop-le driving their fancy BMW's and Mercedes with some dark ___ tints but do you ever see them get pulled over? hell no

Yea...I have 5% all around with a 10 in. strip of 5% with a big sticker on top of that.....very hard to see at night with the 5% though, but it definetley makes a differences .
