Well I did some searching and couldn't really find any DIY's on painting the scion emblems. Found plenty for there removal though. Anyone have tips on what types of paint (or any other products) I should buy and where I should possibly go to buy it? I've never done anything like this before and wasn't able to really find enough info to make me feel comfortable doing it.
FYI: I was thinking about doing the scion emblems a dark gray (I have an FM) and leaving the word "scion" black. Any tips are appreciated

i was also interested in doing this and came acros the same problem after talking to a few of my friends they gave me this info i hope it helps a little..
1. purchase a 3m scotch brite pad from your local auto store- scuff up the emblems a little
2. paint- most auto shops offer a wide array of colors and finishes, depending on what you want, they most likely have it
for me im doing mine pink, so i have to check out home depot or lowes in order to get it
but other than that they had every color you could imagine
spray the emblems with the paint
3. than use a clear automotive paint to finish them
this is what he told me, but like i said im not an expert on it, i would say just to go to a auto store and ask them what you need to do it, im doing mine this sat, i wil let you know how it goes
