if you're gonna go through the hassle of modding these for HID, why not just make the leap and do a retrofit instead.

 

cuz if it was just that easy i woulda been got the retro. that cost an arm leg and first born son. i'd rather just spend 180. i cant see spending 500+ all the way up to 1000 just on lights. nor do i have the know how to make retro's. if i did tho i would have made a set using the older Q45's 7 projector setup. that thing looks awesome. but money is an object.

WTF is going on with that cutoff??? That looks terrible, sorry just my opintion and feel free to disagree but look at it.... can you honestly say its a quality product when the guy just stated he already had condensation and the cutoff looks like the line a 3 year old would draw??????

I was afraid that I may have gotten some knock off or a pre-production batch, but to my surprise, after initial inspection, everything looks good right out of the box. The box still have the shipping label from ANZO, too:



It's like an early Christmas present





So, looking at the back, the seal's pretty good, but I'm going to have it sealed with silicone also, per someone's advise in this thread. After that, I'll see how everything works. Can someone give me a detailed instructions in opening up the car, removing the stock taillights and how plugging this in based on the wires shown here? There's not really any instructions included, so I'm just hoping to not put in the wrong thing. Oh, what is that box that's connected to the wire?





Finally, I want to make sure I do it right, so if someone in or close to the San Fernando Valley want to lend me a hand, I will really love the help. Plus, you can get a first-hand look to these. Thanks!

that box is probably a resistor for the turn signals so you arent hyper blinking.

FYI, you few who ordered from them earlier this week got lucky -- that seller is the only one selling the "Anzo" tails on eBay right now, and they have since jacked up the price by at least $20.

 

Quick! Stop buying them so the price falls again!

 

Theres obviously a great interest in the headlights/tails, and it appears to be in production..I dont know why time is still being wasted trying to get this to go through another seller, besides one on eBay.

 

Looking at the wires and bulb socket, looks like one wire's for the turn signal, one wire's for the main light, and the empty bulb socket's for the reverse. King of Ska or anyone else, how easy it is to swap the lights?

the relevance is the quality of the product that company ships out... it think its 100% related... Not trying to start anything but I mean we know of two leaks out the box, the recall from the above link and IMO the cutoffs look terrible and that car is less than 15ft away from the garage...

I think people should know what quality of product they're purchasing. As much as I love the look of these I'm not sure the quality is up there.

I also understand the point of waiting on other companies has become almost pointless. I'm buying these but under the impression that I'm sticking in E46 projectors and re-siliconing the whole headlamp
