Why not just do it with the stock headlamps? Did u want to use the halos?

But Of course

I might wind up putting an eyebrow over the LEDs too... we'll see. It will give me something to play with over winter while performance modding would prove pointless due to snow

Is it necessary to unplug the negative cable from the battery in order to install the taillights? I want to test the lights first, w/o having to re-enter all the settings on my radio again.

mmm i'm not one to mess around with wiring of any sort with power connected... your car though, just telling you its NOT a good idea and besides I'm pretty sure you gotta pull the bumper for this install anyways so 10 seconds of disconecting the battery won't kill ya

And I'm pretty sure our light cables aren't long enough to reach without the headlamp in place anyways

You're right...better safe than sorry. I hope these lights are good to go without a hitch, then. Just gotta get it silicone sealed before putting it in.

Everyone does up close shots. . . it would be nice to see a shot from a medium distance to see how the tails change the rear profile of the car. I'd like to get RID of the G6/Cobalt look of the rear end.

Are you going to silicone seal it? I still have to get that done first before swapping it. Hopefully I'll get everything done on Friday, provided King of Ska is available.

Its just the right amount of accent IMO.
Def. one of the best aftermarket upgrades Ive seen for the tC.
