Why do it to the tC?

The reason you see them on the xB is b/c the JDM xB is the Toyota bB - not a Scion. The tC has no Toyota JDM equivalent so there would be no real point to doing it.

As for if it would fit... eh... not sure. Never measured them.

Moved to DC though...

I am thinking about doing this to mine. I wish they just called it a Toyota. I may be cynical and snobbish but they whole Scion "youth marketing" thing is corny to me.

I bought it because it was a good car, not because they sponsored a DJ battle.

Maybe I'll get some Lexus badges and make mine an SC 240.
To me this would be less lame than the image Toyota's marketing department is pushing. It's like they are marketing it at teenagers who are bugging their parents to buy them a car.....

Just put a Camry or Avensis badge on it.

What I think is funny is some people are against putting toyota badges on the tC , Yet Toyota had no problem doing this with the engine cover . What they all think the T on that means "TOP"

Pleeeaase don't do that! IMHO, that looks tacky. As somebody stated here before, the meaning of "Scion" is 'descendant'.(I think you can figure out the connection.) In the end though, it's your car and you can do what ya want.

M-E-T-H-O-D Man/wibbly...The sticker price alone shoulda let you know who Toyota is marketing to. Agreed, it's a good car, but their advertising coulda been worse. They coulda recruited Lil' Jon or 50 Suck to do their advertsing.(Thank God they didn't!!) Instead, they went for the underground scene which is keepin' it more real today than most big time rappers. Its not like Toyota/Scion changed their advertising campaign because Junk..I mean Crunk music is so popular. They have been this way since day 1. Being that Meth is your avitar makes your post even more funny! W-I-B-B-L-Y W-O-B-B-L-Y is a H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E.

'Enter the 36 Chambers' is one of THE top 10 rap albums of all-time!

Method Man was a sellout, but at least he had no shame about it and admitted he did it for the money. It's just corny that the #2 automaker in the world would even try to be "underground". They are just trying too hard. Trying to be down with graffiti culture....come on now.....
Another reason Scion's marketing is corny....

http://houstonsoreal.blogspot.com/20...e-rappers.html.

In the end it's about being different....I personally think the "T" looks better than the "S" on the front grille.

Posting up the part numbers would be much appreciated.

It's effective, I just think it's lame.

But if Scion's were rebadaged Cavaliers and made by GM they would be nowhere near as popular.

to each their own is what I say, but me personally, I think it looks cheesy, almost as bad as putting TRD stickers on a Civic, not quite as bad but close.

OutCrnrU that looks good. I have a Black Pearl emblem from a Camry for the back but I am not sure where it is and if it will fit.

The engine was made by Toyota, the car was not. You might as well suggest putting Toyota badges on a Pontiac Vibe.
