Default TRD Lip kit install ?

i've been looking into the TRD lip kit from the dealership and just curious about some of the cost. I got a small brochure in the mail about the accesories from the dealership. It said under the lip kit, $900 or so and that that *Included* cost of the install minus shop supplies. So my question is, what kind of price am i looking at. I will stop by my dealership and talk to them about it, but that won't be for at least a week and i wanted to get an idea before hand. Thanx

i did it and its not that easy but i got it done in a couple of hours. the front and rear is what takes the most time because you have to cut like 12 holes in your bumpers. i also took my time so i wouldn't mess up because you can never go back.
see what the dealership says and if you like the price, go for it, if not then try it yourself.

The OEM lip kit is easy as cake to install... the holes you have to cut are already marked out on the inside of the bumpers...

900 installed is if you buy it at time of purchase... if you want to buy the parts and have them installed after that, it's much pricier, unfortunately.

I got mine for 750 or so and then installed it myself in like 2 hours...

No one wants to listen, but I keep telling them, most of the parts include install.

Not everyone at the dealership seems to understand this, but there it is, again.

Get one of the managers to put it in writing that it includes the cost of install. If you don't, and you go back in to get it installed, they'll argue with you over it.

Yeah, it's real easy to do. Just need a dremel or use the drill bit the instructions tell you to use for making the holes. It took me 2.5 hours to do.

yeah, sometimes you'll have to do a little pulling to get the tabs in the holes. just be sure not to make the hole too wide..

Well, just for anyone wanting an update:

I ordered the lip kit today from my dealership. The MSRP believe it or not was listed in their computers as $1183. I talked the guy down to $900. So $900 plus tax shot me up to $960. Install was NOT INCLUDED. Install is 0.8 labor hours @ the rate of $80+ an hour. So i figure another $50 for install plus shop supplies.

Wow... that's a super cheap install price... everywhere I went the dealers want to rip me off and charged 400 plus for install... I got the kit for 800 from the dealer, so I guess it pans out in different ways.

/\/\ i could have gotten it for even cheaper than that, but i only decided to go through the dealership just to insure nothing is damaged, or anything, and so i wouldn't have to hassle with the install being that my schedule as of lately packed, and also so if they break anything during the install they couldn't say, "we'll it was damaged before you brought it to us." Being how bad my local dealership is.........that's something i know they would do.
