Default TRD Springs with Stock Shocks

Just wondering for those of you who have upgraded the Springs and are still running the stock shocks....what is the feel like? Does it ride rough, and anyone experienced blown shocks?

They ride just well.... you don't have anthing to worry about.... the drop is small enough that the stock struts can handle it!

i have Hotchkis springs which has a bigger drop than TRD. Im still on stock shocks and i installed them around oct-nov? Still have a great ride, getting a little harsh now and then, but just cause out roads suck in South TX. I might go with Koni shocks or just go with TEIN basics since ill be spending about that amount on buying the shocks!

TRD with stock shocks works just fine. If you want, (not sure if it will make a difference in the ride), but to upgrade to the TRD shocks? It might feel better, might not? Would look good since you could have the whole TRD suspension, then get the TRD sways, and you'll be good!

The TRD shocks are a bit smoother with the TRD springs, especially on sharp impacts like potholes and such. That is what they were designed for. The stock shocks will not have a shorter life or anything when using TRD springs, but your kidneys may.
