Default TYC TAILLIGHTS

I have the TYC taillights for my RS3.
I just got it brand new last year & I recently discovered that my clear coat
is chipping away. Does anyone have that issue?
And I'm not sure if it's condensation inside of it, but is there any way to clear that up?

What should I do if it is the clear coat that's chipping away?
Wet sand?

maybe, or some rubbing compound and polishing compound could help, then maybe a coat or two of meguiar's platicX.

just an idea...

if the car is under warranty, go to the dealership.

my ex gf's xa started developing a rash of rust spots all over the rear hatch, took it to the dealership, turned out to be rail dust, which is metallic dust that gets up in the air when being transported via train, and then settles on the car, and sticks to the paint, and the dust itself rusts, but not the car.

they repaired it under warranty lickity split.

so if you have some kind of defective paint job on your car, and a good dealership to go to, get that taken care of asap.

thank you!
i'm going to take it to the dealership on Tuesday.
I don't know if my car has warrenty or not.
The dealership I got it from is in Kansas.
You think the dealership in Texas could find out if my car is on warrenty? sorry if it's a noob question

your bumper to bumper warranty is 3 years /36k miles from the time it is sold as new. any toyota/scion dealership is authorized to do warranty work.

Thank you, girl! =)

Does mine look cracked or do you think it's just the clear coat?

When I feel against the lense, it feels like on the outside..but I do see inside as well.

Do you think they'll replace it because of that?
