umintza halos broken; replacement choices
I have umintza's rings but only had a chance to install one ring. the other 3 are broken. men, those things are soooo brittle. I tried to install the high beam by drilling a whole to hide the wires but that was just a recipe for disaster. The high beams broke with the slightest pressure. I broke the first two within 10mins of test fitting.
Yesterday, after testing fitting one of my low beams in my retrofit, I found the other low beam broken in the package. that must have just broke while I was lifting the second ring.
these look so cool when installed however. why cant they just be a bit sturdier.
but now. should I buy
one low beam replacement, one low beam ring in each headlight
three replacement ring, 2 high beam and one low beam
get a new set.
bare in mind that each ring is $35 bucks a pop

oh..cause when my outer ring broke i talked to Jlevi on AIM and told them what happened and they sent me new ring for free. then we i installed that one, the heat from the heat gun shattered my inner ring. they offered to send me the inner for free, but i didnt fel like opening my headlights again. So i bought Anzos, and cut the wire for the LEDS on top and everything is perfect now

I say just take your time when installing them and don't use a heat gun to seal the headlights back up, put them in the oven it faster and it will not shatter the rings, I've done it plenty of times to my own lights.
