Default Umnitza vs. Oznium

Has anyone had any problems with Umnitza Demon Eyes? Haven't read about any.. Read alot about Oznium's fitment.. Tried installing mine (Oznium) yesterday.. the small rings fit "okay"; the bigger rings didn't even want to go in. I'm probably going to order from Umnitza for my replacement rings. Don't want to go with Oznium again with the fitment on the last ones.

Well, considering that Umnitza asked its customers to pay its R&D costs (which in itself is bad enough) to design HID's/projectors for the tC, took $20 a piece from a number of people over 1 year ago and have yet to deliver anything for their money, I wouldnt give them my money on anything out of sheer principle. If you know anything about business in general you will see a ton wrong with them doing that.

Second, they posted before and after HID pics of their stuff, and used the same exact pic with crazy exposure (it is very noticeable, the clouds even glow in the second pic) on the second one.

All in all, given those couple of things I would steer clear of them.

I have usually heard good things about Oznium. Have you called them to get replacements yet? I am sure if yours have issues they will send replacements.

i bought 2 sets from oznium. of course fitment is not going to be perfect, you just have to work with it a little. where you drill is going to be important on how fitment is. for example, with the big rings, when installing it, i made one of the holes pretty big so the actual ring goes through a little, not just the wire. sorry if thats confusing, but thats how i get mines to fit fine.

and ya, service from oznium has been excellent so far for me.

I'm not sure who you are or what your "credentials" are but I'll address both of your somewhat nearsighted concerns before your comments spread like fire as the truth, which they are far from.

1) We asked people to pay $20 for R&D, if $20 is something you want back, we've offered on many occasions to either offer that $20 to people for a discount on a product OR a refund because we have not received the go ahead for the projectors from the company we're working with.

How about more fact? The vast majority of those 100 people STILL have not requested it and in fact have told us to KEEP the $20 because they don't want to lose their eventual place. I think this year, we might just have something and they will be richly rewarded.

2) We posted HID pictures that were REAL and legitimate. Because of some people making weird assessments that were not true, you somehow came to the conclusion those pictures were false. They were not. I'd post them again, but that's not what this thread is about.

----------

Our rings have always fit perfectly, they are always $99 for all forum members as long as you put your ID in the comments field at checkout. We offer an unlimited amount of rings and they are brighter than anything else out there - PERIOD.

Most CCFL run at 24000mcd-30000mcd = ours run at 50000mcd on AVERAGE.

We ship for only $7 anything you order, HID, Angel eyes, and it's usually there in 2 days.

I have Umnitza halos. Theyre the ones I wrote the DIY with. Havent had any problems. I bought them when Umnitza was charging $150. Kind of sucks for me, but the fitment IS perfect on them. I did have a major problem with shipping from Umnitza, and the customer service was sub-par. But now that they offer them for $99 and you get extra rings (my kit didnt, they werent offering them at that time. Im still driving around without one ring(broke one during install)) I might buy them again from Umnitza. Thats just my $.02.

If you will allow us the use of your DIY - link? - we'd be happy to send you as many rings as you need free.

By my last count, we've had over 350 kits purchased this year. it's not a lot, but it's something.

I don't think that 5-10 unhappy people - though I wish there were none of course and strive to keep it at 0 - is unusual for any product.

Good luck and if you need good product that fits, contact us
