Under My Hood
No... really, under the hood.
I got this idea from Petem ( this thread )... so I actually did this today while my laundry was finishing up.
Of course, as soon as I was done, I wished that I had taken more pictures... but it's not really something that requires a walk through. The only thing that posed any difficulty was taking the big mat off of the hood. There are 8 plastic trim clips that hold it up. Not the easiest thing to pull off. I used one of those two prongs grill forks to pull mine off (you know, with the 1" space between the prongs?). Works quite well, but I actually broke one of the clips. It's ok as it is, but I'm going to swing by my dealer tomorrow to see if they have another I can pop in.
Anyways... to the pics.
Semi-close up.

Say AHHHHH...

The font is 911 Porscha (not exact Scion font, but damn close). If you notice, there are two lines on the O ... but I kind of had to have them the way my template was setup. I may tape them off at a later time and fill it in. Not sure. But it doesn't look bad as it is.
I did have some trouble with some overspray. It's hard to really get anything to stick to that material... so here's what I recommend if you're considering anything like this: have some paint thinner and a couple paper towels handy after you're done. You can blot/wipe away some of the overspray. Both of my pics are AFTER I did that. Much better.

Really cool mod, I love that it's simple to do and one of those little things that's just a small added detail. I'm also really surprised how close the Porsche font is to the Scion. Nice touch!

There are just a couple differences in the curves... and the "I" is different. The Porscha font has the top and bottom bars like an I beam. The font Scion uses just has a single line for the I.

I just printed them out and made it. Here's where I got the font:

But you'll have to make your own I ... b/c like I said, the Porscha one isn't correct.

I don't know what the underside of a CF hood actually has.
