Default V6 my tC

ok ok, i've been searching, but i got nothing... and i just need a simple answer, unless someone REALLY wants to discuss it. ok, so.... me and my friend were talking about making my car faster..(07 FM tC) and he said, lets do an engine swap, and put a v6 in it, it'll double the power, and make it faster. any thoughts? concerns? questions? has it been done? is it worth it? could it actually work?
i know theres probably something, but i found nothing on here
thanks again

have a great day!

Yeah, one guy did it with a V6.. I think he got about 30hp out of the deal and a heavier car... in the nose to make it worse... .waste of time unless you just want to do it. Your better off boosting the stock engine. Sure you can start building the V6, but you still have a more nose heavy car, more overall weight, a LOT of expense and then still have to mod it to actually be fast. Spend $5 - $10k and boost what you have and end up with a lighter car than the V6, less money for the power you get and better mileage when you stay out of it

yeah, take a pretty new car and lets swap out the engine right off the bat! sounds like a good idea. if you were that serious about more power, u wouldnt have got the tC in the first place. drive it till u run it to the ground, THEN do an engine swap. dont waste ur money.
