The only legit reason that I can see why someone would want to put spacers on the hood like that would be so their ITBs would be breathing well..heres a friend of a friends' EK

If you rode around like that, and I saw you, I would be asking..."Dude what the heck is wrong with your hood?" And then when you explain that you are trying to keep temps down, I would be thinking in my head.....Nice car, but the hood looks stupid like that.

Yeah, I have been looking for a good CF hood with a rain guard. Having rain into the engine bay sucks big time.

I have a silver version on the AIT hood. It Has the rain guard and the bottom is pretty damn clean. Its all poly urethane or sum hard plastic which i forgot the name of. just leaves like 3/32" gap on each side if u look direclty into the lil space, but that cuz i raised it a lil.

My friends were like it looks like an evo now lol

I got my hood from fatboygarage.com, i got it for alot cheaper cuz they were local for me. its like 150 shipping, and they gave me like 30 buks off for also bringing sum1 else to buy stuff from my school. Ya i have to take two washers from the holes of the bracket off to even it. i put three and two adn it should be two and one so it fits a lil better

I like the forward vent hoods.... shopping around for a good deal for onemy Turbo Kit, (Can't Hurt)... But, the AIT rear vent looks like the best quality inside out there... my hood is open for shows all the time, I couldn't stand the look of the fiberglass on the above hood glaring at people... If they fixed that, I'd be ALL over it.

Please don't raise the hood like that. That is freakin ugly! You ruin your fine lines having a hood poped up like that. I like the hood though. I will save up for the AIT Carbon Fiber hood for the summer and go back to stock in the raining season.

What about the Kaminari Reverse Cowl hood? I'm interested in that, but trying to keep proper air flow in mind.

Ok after staying up all night looking over all the hoods I decided on getting the Kaminari in carbon fiber. The quality is there top and bottom and has a metal oem style latch so I like that idea, if your going to spend that much money you don’t want it to look like crap or break in few months.

MY ONLY LAST QUESTION WILL IT WORK WITH MY S/C I believe it will but it does drop low in middle I was wondering does anyone have it with the S/C and how the fitment just want to make sure before I buy it..

I've also got the AIT hood, but in reg CF....

I like it and it hasnt done anything negative to my engine.

The first pic is newer than the second... thats why one has pins and the other doesnt.

I'm pretty sure you'll have clearance... I'm still curious as to the underside of the hood and its appearance.
