Default VIS Carbon OE Hood for tC

I installed the VIS hood over the weekend to go with my Touring Carbon Kit. Fits really good except for about 1/8" gap on the sides. Beautiful finish and carbon looks great. Has a nicer finish than my kit even. Fits nice around the headlights and matches up in the front with the bumper perfectly. I'll post pics by tomorrow, for now wondering what other OE Carbon hoods you guys have installed and what issues (if any) you may have had. How are the other ones fitting. Keep in mind also that this was the first tC hood VIS came out with and they are going to use my input to make any adjustments / corrections. Initial fit is good though and my initial opinion is that it came out good.

from what i've seen, fiberfx's cf hood is perfect. fitment is just like oem, no wider than stock gaps. i'm interested in seeing pics of the vis version though.

the gap on the sides can be adjusted by moving the fenders a little bit.

well i have FIBER fx hood and trunk on my car. i am also running with both prototypes and they fit perfect. heres a pic if you havent seen it already.

ok here are the pics. Just about 1/8 inch too much gap on either side, I am going to let VIS know so they can adjust (mine is the one they are using to test).

yeah I want to see pics myself! LOL. We are taking measurements for the wheels (finally), and also looking at Suspension and Exhaust, and then vert doors (Im actually not a fan of vert doors but they do draw attention and I am getting them so cheap I might as well ). As the project rolls along I will continue to post info and pics. Oh, and I finally found the perfect wing! more info later.
