Default vrd f lights

just got my vrd fog lights and installed them. they look great. But are they supposed to turn off when you turn off your high beams, i know you dont use your high beams in fog but mine turn off then and id like to have them stay on then too just for the looks and use the toggle switch to turn them on and off. was jus wondering.

yes, that is how they work. they work like factory integrated fog lights so that they come on only when they are switched on, and the low beams are on, but then turn off when the high beams are turned on.

normal. there is a thread about how to make them come on independently.

That is a function of normal OEM or OEM style fog lights...and it's actually the law that when your high beams come on, any fog light has to be off. There are few write ups on here about how to bypass that, search.

i did the bypass but somehow it made my HID's burn the fuse. dunno what happened so i wired it normally and ran my hid's on a switch. so even tho i trigger the LB it wont turn on the HID's until i flick the switch. and still run my fogs when DRL is on.
