VRD Foglights - Installed w/ Pictures (56k warning)
#21
Wow krdshrk your turbo setup is so clean. Usually Id opt for that big silver FMIC to be shining off but keeping the bottom grill makes it look sophistacted and like a sleeper. I would never have guessed you were turbo, sweet set up. Can you post up some engine bay pics?
Oh and to stay on topic, how are the VRD lights secured in place? Do they feel pretty sturdy?

If you look at my turbo thread, the new I took at the same time are on page 8.
The VRD fogs clip right in - just like the false grille panels. However, the clips are large and very sturdy. They're very secure in there.

The VRD's are street legal correct? I looked them over at VRD's site and nothing on there said anything about off road use only for these lights. Just curious.
Car looks great, looked at it over at Cardomain.com.

The bulbs that come in them are oem headlight color so they're technically legal. That's what I have in right now. The yellow bulbs give off a darker, kinda greasier looking yellow light.

so you didnt have to modifiy the lip to fit these in correct? the website mentioned that you needed "Modifications needed for Scion tC with Original Scion lip kit (Professional cut on lip kit Request)"..

I don't have the lip kit. The OEM lip kit extends into the false grille area. In order to get the VRD Fogs in, you would have to cut part of the OEM lip kit.
