Default VRD Grill fitment

Anybody know if it fits the 2010? I do not see why it wouldn't but you never know.

I will probably be using the website http://www.remixcustom.com/04sctcvrdhou.html

This site has the cheapest price and since I don't buy stuff off ebay, this is where i will probably get it from.

your lip might be in the way of it, or your trying to snap it in upside down..

try dremeling that plasic lip off around the holes for the clips. leave enough plastic so it wont break. the excess was blocking mine from fully snapping in.

Yes they are Bluebat eyelids. 3-ish years and they still look good.

It is right side up and I dont think the lip is affecting it that much to cause it to do that because I felt the clips go past the holes.. it just wasnt snapping in.

I realize that I'm using the stock grill for this but for clarification is this the lip you're talking about?

It's almost like these grilles are meant to snap in once and be done with. Especially on the bottom grille. I ended up drilling two little holes on the recessed part of the bumper to hold my grille in with tiny zip ties. They'd snap in, but one speedbump, or bumpy ride and they'd be crooked again. I have VRDs, as well.

EDIT : By the way, on your original post of the two VRD grilles, you have the bottom one upside down. I am pretty sure of that. The more curved edge should be at the bottom.

LOL yeh I know I flipped it right side up before installing it though. That was just to show them before install. What I did was line the bottom portion of the bumper where the grill slides on with some 3m tape. It seems to be holding now but if by any chance it falls off then I'm just gonna say f*** it.. and just run no grill on the bottom.

you can also go ghetto and wedge some masking tape or duct tape or electrical tape..or any kind of tape lol, right on the clips on the bumper and try to snap it in, one of my problems was that the holes on the grill was too big to have the oem bumper clips snap on so i made it a little thicker, it worked fine after that...but then i traded bumpers with someone and snapped most of it on with no problems lmao...guess i had a crappy bumper =x
