Default is this the vrd grille on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...QQcmdZViewItem

I just ordered this and I hope I got the right one. it looks like the vrd grill with oem fitment?

I got titanium which seems to be another word for hyper black. which is what I want, matte black makes the front look too generic imo. no one on the forum except 1 person sports the titanium,

so Im hoping this will look good on the bsp.

This is the vrd one correct?

To me that doesn't look like the seller is VRD. It looks like a different company. This is VRD's ebay store:

As mentioned above, that is not VRD selling them, but it does look like their grill.

alright!

the package is arriving today, I cant wait.

I think this will look good with bsp, as long as the grill is oem fitment.

doesnt the vrd come with a black shroud? Where ours is chrome finish. I think it could be a knock off of vrd... but if fitment is clean hell it works!

we'll see when it arrives, either its just outsourced from the same company overseas or the ebayer just sets up auctions and has vrd do the drop off. I dunno.

but I think thats the vrd grill or sourced from the same manufacturer.

well the grills arrived today

from these pics can anyone tell me if this is an oem fitment grill from the notches where the clips go?

its too dark outside for me to install them now, so I have to wait till tomorrow.

any tips on how to install these without removing the bumper?

sorry about the bad pics, i used my camera phone.

I like the color, its hyper black with a slight gold hue.

I expect the grill loo look considerably darker when its inset inside the bumper.

install with a cinch

the thing is I find it too much bling, ah well, ill probably just spray paint it gloss black. IMO distracts too much from the rest of the car.

the funny thing is I asked peopls personal opinion that I knew, and the guys didnt like it, they felt it was too flashy whiile the ladies like it.

I think women like flashy looking cars.

Ill leave it on for a week, if I dont like it, im going to paint it gloss black.

looks black far away but when you walk up it looks like chrome.

I think this grill would look really nice on flint mica and silver or blue, but maybe stand out too much on bsp?

All the grilles with this style is our VRD grille. We have a few ebay sellers distributing some of our products.

We also have a before sema sale going on right now. Take advantage of it before it ends!

the grill has grown on me since Ive last posted in this thread. I like it a lot now. I will keep it this color and not repaint it. I like the fact that absolutely no scion in my area has this grill and color.

unlike the other mods Ive done with the car, the grill makes a definate statement that the car does not look like multitudes of tc's cruising my city, which 99 percent are bone stock.

even those that dont know much about tc's know the car is different and the other day I was at a stop sign and a pedestrian walking in front of me, and straight up told me "nice looking car" and didnt stop staring at it.

so Ive decided to just keep it as it is and roll with it.

anyhow for those that missed my photoshoot here are the pics after install

its a classy looking grill
I want to keep my mods clean and subtle, but still different from all the ones I see on the road daily. Im officially over the stealth black on black phase :D and considering hyper black wheels in the future.
