I've got an 08 and my VRD lower grill keeps popping off and ends up sitting on my splash guard. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

 

no problems here? are they ALL snapped in?

some of the clips wont clip in

 

are they broken, either the ones on the bumper or grill? send it back?

 

none are broken...just wont clip in completely

 

if you bought it from the site i'd send it back. i read some in threads that people use zip ties and drill a few holes to keep from getting stolen, but dont know if you really want to do that. i personally never had a problem with it fitting in. it should pop right in. good luck though

 

My lower vrd was pretty tough popping it in. Maybe your not pushing hard enough on it.

i know a few people had trouble with their grills popping out with an RS1 lip and they used silicone to keep it in place. i haven't had any problems with mine, but silicone should do the trick.

 

i had this problem all the time and i just used SILICONE to fix it. If u have the RS1 front lip it is the lip hitting the ground and then pushing the grille out. Just put some silicone down in the groove of the grill and then snap it back in to place. Let it dry and u shouldn't have the problem anymore. simple and easy.

yeah it is just any clear silicone really. It works VERY good. I haven't had a problem ever since i did it. I got mine from WaLMART too.
