Default washing the car =/

So basically i washed my car today. After i was done washing i started drying all around the car..no water spots what so ever. I debadged my Tc sign and used some goo gone to take off the leftover... i opened my hatch to put the googone back in and next thing you know theres a waterfall coming down my hatch. Water falls from the upper glass part and falls into my trunk getting everything wet and RE-wetting my car.. sigh.. i had to dry the interior and exterior AGAIN. Does this always happen after you wash the car or is it just mine? If yes, what can we do to fix this or go about getting around it? Thanks

uh..that happens everytime you wash your car..it just collects in the crack between the hatch and the rear pillar.

I just open my trunk and dry it off before i dry the rest of the trunk/rear bumper area..

perfectly normal.

^^ +1 open the hatch and doors and dry in there first and then try the rest of your car

it was actually my second wash after i bought the car. I realized that after the FIRST time i washed my car i drove it out to meet up with someone and im going to assume the water came off while i was driving. BUT when i washed it today..i opened the hatch as i was drying it BEFORE i drove it out.. so i think that might be the answer to this problem. Drying the hatch AFTER you drive it around the block takes all the water out from the cracks of the roof and hatch

Are you never going to wash your car ever again because of the water that gets trapped in the cracks?

It's rude, hateful, and unecessary comments like these that make people afraid to post topics. People come to this site to get help and ideas about how to modify their rides, and see the progress of others. Not be insulted.

Grow up.
