I've been having this issue for awhile and can't find the cause onto why water keeps getting into my trunk/spare tire area. Has anyone ran into this issue? It seems to be coming from the rear left. I had my rear tail light replaced awhile back but the weather striping is there. Maybe I missed something?

 

I pulled off the cover to get to the taillight on the drivers side and found my water leak. There is a vent behind the plastic that had a water trail. I am trying to permanently close this vent and reinstall it.
