yea but theres gotttta be differences. I mean the bbist hood is double sided and has to weigh more than others. And i dont know what the vents are supported by but thats gotta add more structure/weight. Im sure someone out there besides myself would like to know the weights for future refereeeence. lol. Now can someone please post numbers? and in particular the N-1/ait/b-magic hood. Ive grown attached to taht thing lol.
THE VENTED ONE HAS A FIBER GLASS CENTER STRUCTURE FOR ADDED SUPPORT, THIS IS FROM WHAT I FOUND REVIEWING THEM. IT COULD BE NOT ALL OF THEM DO BUT IM SURE COST WOULD BE HIGHER. AND YEAH THEY DID SHOW THE VENTED ONE WIEGHING MORE. (I'LL TRY TO FIND THE WIEGHTS AND POST THEM)

ok i have a vis oem style cf hood on my tc and literally.. the new cf hood was really really light but then i took all the stuff off the stock hood like the heat sheild and washer nozzle stuff and rubber strippin on the front the factory hood is almost as light as the new cf hood i bought there really isnlt much of a weight difference but cf just looks better
if i get time to it this weekend i'll weight the cf hood i have and my stock hood.. there is a huge difference in weight with stock and cf.. and the double sided cf hoods should actually be lighter then the hoods with a fiberglass frame but cost a lot more since its double sided.. if ur looking for a oem style hood let me kno i can get u one at a good price.
