Default what are the best type of led's to put in the...

headlight eyelids =D
i baked them, and want to install led eyelids, but one of my friends put the flexible ones http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips and within a week, 3 burned out on one side, and 2 burned out on the other side....so i guess those are out of the question for the eyelids....any ideas guys?

well.. in the future, i would use a regulator for pre-built led items. even though they say for auto use, they arent realy most of the time.. you can use a 12V regulator so they only get 12V.. never above that... that will ultimately keep them alive for almost ever... or, you can use 2 1N4001 diodes in series to knock the voltage down about 1.4V which dosent seem like much, but you take the average TC alternator voltage of 13.8V (according to my stinger volt meter) that would knock it down to 12.2V.. you'll notice it will be dimmer, but you wont have burnt out led's either..

all led questions can be answered in the sticky here.. or at www.hidplanet.com/forums/led
