Well, I was having a good day, so something had to go wrong, and it did, I drove straight into the staircase handrail post. It put a crease in my bumper, I'll post pics when I can get outside, do you guys think I will have to replace the whole bumper? Or can this be fixed?

Okay, here are some pictures, i went to the dealer, they want 500 dollars to fix it, 100 in parts, 400 in labor, you have to look real hard to see it, lol, its one of those things that no one can see, but it bugs the hell out of you.

I tried rubbing compound, it didnt work, thats not buffing it is it? Its not just a scratch, its indented

 

Possibly yes. . . with a blow dryer, some sort of rolling pin or round metal cyliner, and a LOT of patience.

i did sorta the same thing... i was driving into my garage too fast and hit a fan... left little indentions where my license plate should go... ive just learned to live with it like door dings... things happen..

We have a body shop here, but the estimate you pm'd me for sounds about right for a new painted and installed bumper . . .

anyone else vote for a body kit? ;)
