Default what paint for blacking out grille emblem?

hey what paint does everyone use to "blackout" the scion emblem on the upper grille? does everyone just use a random spraypaint? or is it a car-specific one that is used?

One "Scion" rear emblem...

One can of Dupli-Color Engine Enamel... (Choose a color of your liking.)

One can of Dupli-Color Acrylic Lacquer...

One Metallic Silver Sharpie...

Quick recap of the painting process;
1. Wash emblem in soapy water. Let dry.
2. Use paint and apply 4-5 LIGHT coats. Let dry completely before adding another coat.
3. Use lacquer the same way as the paint. (Refer to step 2.)
4. Color in "SCION" lettering with Sharpie pen. Have some Windex and a micro fiber cloth handy incase you "color outside the lines".

Your finished product should look like this...

That's all there is to having a sweet looking rear Scion/tC emblem!! Good job!! You've earned that beer!!
You can do this for the front emblem too.

remove it with fishing line, put it back on with 3M tape, cut to fit, or silicone adhesive.

BTW, I used flat black on the front grille to match it closer to the grille... that was before I went badgeless on the front grille.
