I had the regular stock ones, then switched to amber halogens. If I were going the LED route, I would get some with heatsinks because the heat from the lowbeams will damage the LEDs (without heatsinks).

Heh, nope... those should only go over RAM or CPU's in computers, never headlight assemblies. I guess the plastic around the LED's is strong enough to protect it from the heat of the halogens I have in there. But seriously, I run them ALL day/every day FOR A YEAR.

I'm just using simple amber 194 bulbs. They look good with the sidemarkers.

Too complete the look of my headlight assembly, I'm going to clear out the side markers (will still blink amber) and I'm ordering stealth turn signal bulbs (reflective chrome surface but blink amber). So clean!

Can someone find me a good 194 bulb on superbrightleds.com that would emit blue the best? I'm getting confused lol

Would this work?

921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb
921 Type with 12 LEDs, replaces 194/168/912 wedge base car bulbs
Wide 75 degree beam pattern, non-polarized
measures 1.20 inch long by 0.60 inch diameter

My avatar has my parking lamps illuminated, that is not the high beam. There are 25 SMT high flux LED's on each one. They come in White, Blue, Red, and Amber. Red would probably be a major issue as you would look like your driving backwards in someones rear view mirror.

Oh you have halogen bulbs? I'm running the stock incandescents in my headlights so I'm afraid when I use them at night they will burn out the LED's...is switching to halogens a quick and easy mod (just change out the bulbs)? How do they look?

The stock Scion tC headlight bulb is a 51 watt 9006 halogen bulb. I have had the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra SU/2 9006 (low beam) bulbs in my car for as long as I've had the parking lights in.
