Ok, some peeps on here know about my issue since I PMed them for help. Back in mid-May of this year I took my tC in to have the sunroof tracks cleaned and regreased. I got it back and everything appeared fine. A few days after that, I get out of work, and it was well over 100+degrees here. Once the car got above 65ish MPH there was a really loud and annoying whistling noise that was coming in the cabin that sounded like it was just above the driver's head closer to the windshield. After reading around on here and not finding anything that pertained to the noise I heard I made an appointment to have it checked out this past Monday at the dealership. Keep in mind it only does this whistling when its really hot out and when the car gets above 65MPH, and I've tried opening the sunroof to its first stopping point where its not really opened up, then opened it up, then opened it up to its full ability and still the noise persisted. Long story short the appointment lady at the dealership forgot to get the Windshield company booked for me when I was coming in so nothing happened on Monday. I told them that I wanted them to make sure there was nothing wrong with the sunroof seals first since it only started after they messed with the sunroof. Seemed logical to me when I told them that. Well the car had an appointment this morning and just when I was about to walk out the door my service manager called me and told me not to come over. Apparently they found a TSB regarding my exact problem with this noise and they are ordering a new Windshield molding for my car today and should be in by Tuesday next week.

Has anyone heard of this supposed TSB and where I can find a list of all the new TSBs that come out for 07tC? He's claiming they have fixed 6 so far at just this one dealership I go to so I dunno what to believe until I have it done and pray they don't mess anything up. Nothing is leaking as of right now and I really don't want anything to start leaking when they start taking it apart and "fixing" it. Any suggestions or help on the TSB he's talking about? I did not see anything there related to the sunroof seal...
Could this just be an 'internal toyota' thing?

 

Hmmm thanks for the link, I looked up for the 07s all I found was something for reflashing the ECU, the engine coolant system, tire pressure system, and thats about it. Nothing on the windshield molding. He's suppose to show me the TSB though when I go in for the service so I'll let you guys know if I find out anything. Anyone else know of something like this?
