i have 5% on the back and 17% on the front and i got them done in march and alll of the sudden in junthe last week i have gotten like 7 tickets seriously for them one after another some not even 10miles from the next one does anyone know the exact laws for the state of va im tierd of this and i am now getting in trouble for stupid stuff like stuff hanging from the rearview mirrior someone please help im getting my front taken off today and i need to know if thats gonna be okay or what not please someone write back haha

Sooo... I've been trying to decide on a tint for my BSP... Im leaning toward 35%... or maybe a little darker. I was going to go with the 3M but no one in my area seems to tint with that... Llumar seems to be the trend. Does anyone have a preference between 3m and Llumar?

ALSO Im having an extra hard time trying to find a tint shop.. folks in Alabama don't seem to know what my car is.. Which makes me hella nervous... the person actually asked me if my "Ty-on" (as he said it) was the one that looks like a box...
Anyone know of any good shops in the Auburn area? Or am I going to just have to drive on down to Atlanta?

I dont remember the percentage. I just picked a shade when I had it done. its definately not limo though. and when I was pulled over I was told it was a shade too dark?

What do you guys think the lowest % I can go with (living in California) without the cops hassling me? Legal limit on the front passenger and driver sides are 70% but I want something around 40% or 50%, with the rear and hatch being somewhat lower.

i am in california.
My car is black.
I wanted to get dark in the back, and light in the front.
there is light, med, dark, limo shades.
on my last car i had Med in the back and light in the front.
but it still got hot and it looked okay.
i think i am going to get Dark in the back and Med in the front.
As far as legal issues, is it okay to tint as dark as you want in the back? i know the front is none at all.
also, would Limo in the back and med in the front look cool?

in CA you can tint as dark as you want in the back.
