I used to have 18% all around but I got busted too often. I downgraded to 50% in the front and kept the 18% in the back. It doesn't look bad.

Tint 5% rear, 25% rear sides, 35% front

 

So i'm thinking of tinting the side windows 25% and the other 3 15% though the legal limit here in Indiana is 30%. Would this look ok on the SCM? anyone with a BCP got pics since its the closest to my color?

 

Going today in Louisville, KY. Gonna do 15% all around. Post pictures next sunny day.

im thinking the roof is around 20-15% because i have 15 all around and you cant tell the difference between the windows and the sunroof.

 

I have 6% on all the windows and 50% on the windshield and 5% tint strip about 6inches on the windshield

Yeah it is. But mine looks darker than it is. In person, Its so light you cant even tell its there. But who cares if its illegal. Just add it to the list of illegal things on my car. haha

I used to have an eclipse I had 15% all arround. I got pulled over to days later and got a ticket/warning. I knew they were illegal so I got them inspected thinking maybe they will let it slide. they didn't I ended up getting 50% on the front. I hated it. It was black in the back and it looked tintless in the front. I would suggest trying to get 35% all around if you get pulled over at least you tried, then change it.

 

So I got my tint done Thursday. I'm So excited the car looks so much better even though it still needs a bath. I decided to go with 20% all around and yes it is illegal in IN but hell i dont care. There are a lot more cars rolling thru here with way darker than mine. Heres a few pics and sorry if they look like crap i took the after pics quick.

Also a funny story to add to this. I was leaving my grams in Oak Lawn and heading out to my moms in Tinley when not more than about a half hour of me driving the car total (to grams then from there to 111th and central) did i get half a$$ pulled over. I was on 111th going west when i look in my rear view mirror and see an unmarked cop car flip on his lights and go around the car that was in the right lane and come up behind me. I flip on my turn signal to get over to the right lane thinking he was going to pass by when he follows me. I turn my hazards on and pull over. he honks his horn and i look in the rearview to see him waving me to keep going. I'm thinking he wants me off 111th and prolly wants me to pull into that lot 1/2 a block up. As i start to go only doing about 25 speed limit 40 i see him turn off his lights and start to come around to the driver side of me so i roll down my window and so does he then telling me "Your from Indiana nevermind" and he drives off. WTF?? I'm confused at this point then it dawns on me I have a tinted license plate cover on my car so the tints prolly caught his eye then when he couldnt see my license plate number cause the dang thing was so dirty he figured he get me cause its illegal in IL. so the moral of the story is......DO not drive into IL LOL. which i do everyday to go to work so thats not gonna happen. hehehe

Anyways Hope that gives you all a lil laugh cause now i'm laughing just the other day I wasnt.

i wanted to do the double limo tint but the shop wanted to charge way too much! i think my 5% from the A-pillar back looks pretty good. especially on overcast days. The first pic is before i lowered it on H-techs and the second is after
