Wire Sidemarkers and Foglights to Parking Lights?
#21
Yes...just get to the wires on the rear side marker. Locate the negative and cut it. Run a new wire to the negative on the end the bulb is at. Take the other end of that wire, and bring it up to the rear tail light wires. Locate the positive for the turn signal indicator. Splice the positive turn signal wire (DO NOT CUT), and attach/sodder the new wire to it. That should be it.
When the lights are off, the rear side marker will stay off. However, this one should now signal in an alternate pattern to your main signal (it didn't blink before but it now will).
When the lights are on, the rear side markers should come on again just as they did when stock. And when you signal, two sources of power should go to the bulb, turning it off because the circuit is not complete (lack of ground/negative). This will cause the rear side marker to blink off in an alternate patter to your main signal.
Hope this helps.

I added more pictures in a new forum and you can see the side markers on a little better.

well i tried the mod, but i failed. my car does not signal anymore, i dont know what i did. I cut the white wire on the turn signal, and i stripped the green wire with the black stripe on the turn signal. i didnt find a green wire with a red stripe so i may have screwed up one of the wires. The weird thing is that i didnt cut any of the wires going to the turnsignal, i just stripped em, so i dont understand why my turnsignals L and R do not work, i was only working on the Leftside. The Signal Indicators in the dash dont even work. =( someone please help meeee...

Blown Fuse.
**For all who are not too familiar with how power works in a car**
Note that cars are grounded to their chasis (negative power). Be careful not to allow a hot wire (one with positive power) to touch anything metal on the car. If you do...you may blow a fuse.
