I came across a tC that was wrecked and needs some body work. The door panels, and front end need replaced but everything else is in good condition.

With a working motor. Wheels and tires, and interior in good condition what do you think it is worth

Its not worth much. No one wants to buy cars with a salvage title. I believe they go for about 10k or so. If u wanna get a cheap tC for yourself go ahead but if you wanna profit from fixing it up your not gonna get anything.

 

No, I was thinking more of either piecing it out and keeping the parts I wanted, or building a dune buggy! Lose 50% of the body weight and put some bigger tires on those wheels!

Thats way far off but what would you say its worth?

 

It might not be as bad as it is, the doors might be damaged but it could just be the top skin. You can always replace the top skin on the doors. The hatch too.

 

Yeah, I was thinking, hell sell my tC fix this one and drive it!

 

sounds like it might be worth around 5k, i got mine for 4700 fixed it up and now i'm driving it

 

Yeah, I would be doing a full turbo, built motor, suspension, set up....

Wow there must not be any e-brake cable. The things standing straight up like it took some Viagra.
It's fixable though.

If you take it, PM on the drivetrain! Might need another motor if/when i blow mine up!

 

that is going to be more money to fix than you might think. for example, that quarter panel is going to have to be replaced. the shop would have to cut that one out then get another one and put it on. not cheap.
