Default Rear Bumper Applique issue

i had my scion rear bumber applique put on friday by the dealership, but after careful viewing of it there appears to be small rough white specs in it, they told me it's air bubbles, and they can probably get it out, but it doesn't look like that too me, has anyone had any issues with this, and another thing, if it ends up being a bad install, and i request for a new one to be put on, will removing the old applique damage the paint..remember this is an 08 tC w/ 24 miles on it

Wow, they should give you a new one and put it on for you. That's exactly why I did mine myself. It's really easy, maybe you should think about that if you get another one. Not sure if it will cause damage removing it, I would imagine if you (or the dealer) do it properly, you should be ok.

my gf put on the applique on her xa, it is really easy.

just match it up across the rear bumper, and slowly start peeling off the backing while squeezing out the air from under the applique.

not hard, but does take patients.

Well since you are in Miami, you should have no problem. Do it in direct sunlight, that will help it dry fast, but you have to be quick and make sure you get all the bubbles out before it dries. The applique comes with directions.
