Where did you get your rack and parts? Which trays do you have?

I found this bit of kit online: http://www.rackoutfitters.com/store/...?idproduct=931

It has extenders to make the span between bars longer (front to back)

*sighs*
I'm not TOO sure, but judging from the pic, I HIGHLY doubt the gentleman is taking his car to HOT IMPORT NIGHTS to when trophys.

I hate when people act stupid on here, not everyone on these forumns are trying to pimp there ride with hi-tech gadgets.

......

Anyways, pretty cool, that it still allows the user to use their moonroof, that's a def plus.
looks nice and a HELL of a lot better than those bumper ones to hold bikes.

*thumbs up*

*BUMP*

Dante, that looks awesome...do you have any details on what you had to do to get the sunroof to open? Did you cut down screws mounting the bike carrier to the rack?

Also, does that fairing interfere with the front part of the sunroof that pops up?

Finally, do you happen to know by how much the mileage suffered? I'm concerned with highway mileage as the tC will be driven 100 miles a day on the interstate...

The sunroof open no problem on my car. Just a matter of spacing. The front part of the sunroof pops up right behind the fairing on my car. I have noticed that milage was a bit down ona 200 miler right after i put the rack on, but i reset the ECU the day before so that may have something to do with it.

Its not a fashion statement, its a tool. I ski on 185's and i cant fit them in, not to mention they are wet and stuff afterwards.

i just ordered a mtb and was thinking of getting a rack. i never knew so many people hated tCs with rack. why does it matter a car is suppose to get you from one place to another and if you need a rack to get 2+bikes around then you do.

I kinda want one that can mount the bike without taking off the front wheel...think that would be any issue?
