Dude, you need to practice your shifting there is no way that thing even comes close, unless it had some mods.

Back to topic, can you guys at least tell us if you are working on a 4-2-1?

No thats not it. lol
The flange on that one is totally different then the tC. That was just an attempt to see if Draxas will really give us any real details or progress pics.

Yeah, that header looks like a Honda flange. I would love to have a legal header...but that means there has to be a cat...ugh.

that is correct, to make it a "legal" road safe header, it would have to meet all OE specs having a cat in the exhaust manifold. and with an aftermarket header, that is not a good idea for a few reasons. one main one is, if there is a cat in an aftermarket header, it usually ends up being the collector (where all the pipes murge into one), and with the increased air flow, it is VERY easy to burn through them (trust me i have a friend who had the nismo header w/ cat on a spec-v, and burned through 3 of them). Besides the fact that it is easy to burn though, you lose alot of power with a cat in the exhaust manifold.

which is why I will probably never have a header. i will fail our local emissions testing without the cat...Why the hell did they put it on the manifold anyway??

I doubt you will fail unless they do a visal test (under the hood). Most states (cali is an exception) only do an OBDII Scan. And if you were to have the DraXas exhaust, it comes with a DOT approved Hi-Flow Cat, so if they do a sniffer test as well, you should pass that as well.

So if where you are located only does an OBDII Scan, and a Sniffer, then you should be golden. The only thing you gotta worry about is a visual inspection... which just about anybody needs to worry about, cause they can always pop the hood and look.

But if you are REALLY worried, you could always put your stock manifold back on when you get it inspected, then put the aftermarket header back on.

all well and good...but there is a chance I will be moving to the west coast in the next year or two...so... I have a high flow cat on the CC exhaust I am running. Honestly I don't know if a visual inspection is part of it or not here in da Burgh.

Listening to all of you guys makes me glad that I live in Kentucky. I'm not running any cats, lol. Although I'm probably going to put a high flow on to get some torque back.

Im glad this thread started..... I was going to make a post anyways...

Does anyone know what the tube diameters are on the MMW header? Primary (4 pipes), secondary (2 pipes), and third single tube?

We are getting ready to have our fabricator give us a quote to have 100 of these headers fabricated and then take that Invoice to the bank so we can start production. But we have to finalize some of the little things, like the tube diameters.

We already know that our 4-2-1 header will look different than the MMW due to where we have the primary tubes merge into 2 tubes and then further back into 1. Our header will more than likely look more like a 4-2-1 header for an older Honda engine, as seen here:

http://www.dcsports.com/product_headers.asp?subCatID=43

If anybody has the info on the MMW headers, maybe because you asked them before, please post it here. I want to see if our original thoughts of tube diameters is different than what they are using. MMW doesnt have this info on their site, so I have no way of knowing, other than to send them an email or something.

FYI: the rallyart is almost 100% the same in every spec. The hp is 163hp and is a tad lighter. I think I shift pretty good.

Doubtful. What are they going to do with a bunch of used s-pipes?
