That means its anywhere from at least a month (if their initial design satisfactory) to god knows how long (so they can get it right) I think i am going AW...

I would wait for Draxas to come out with this header if you are considering purchasing a header soon. Draxas has outstanding build quality, customer service and stands behind their products 100%.

it all depends if they can get the same HIGH numbers that MMW can get. I would love to see their numbers as high ... if not higher ...but the real question is, is it possible?

I don't think you should be TOO concerned with numbers. I mean, nearly all of these aftermarket parts have been tested in different conditions and on different dynos. And even still, most of the numbers are so close that they are probably within the margin of error in measuring hp. IMO, the biggest selling point would be build quality.

that is very correct

HP Numbers can vary on Dynos (depending on the dyno IE dyno jets usually yeild higher hp), the car itself, mods on the car, condition the car is running, open hood dyno, closed hood dyno, open hood with a fan blowing on the motor

from what people know of draxas products and customer support, it is top notch, and the header will be nothing less.

I believe it will be worth the wait. I plan on trading out my Megan header for the Draxas one when it comes out.

draxas right now is doing the exhausts (or getting them sent to get packaged) - if you watch the other thread -- thats whats up. For the next 2 weeks thats going to be happening, 2-4weeks to do things and start to look at setting things up. 3-5weeks of getting things made to spec. I am expecting a 2month wait starting about now. On the high end I would say a more realistic date is 3.25months from now. but thats my 2cents.

Does anyone know what the tube diameters are on the MMW header? Primary (4 pipes), secondary (2 pipes), and third single tube?

We are getting ready to have our fabricator give us a quote to have 100 of these headers fabricated and then take that Invoice to the bank so we can start production. But we have to finalize some of the little things, like the tube diameters.

We already know that our 4-2-1 header will look different than the MMW due to where we have the primary tubes merge into 2 tubes and then further back into 1. Our header will more than likely look more like a 4-2-1 header for an older Honda engine, as seen here:

http://www.dcsports.com/product_headers.asp?subCatID=43

If anybody has the info on the MMW headers, maybe because you asked them before, please post it here. I want to see if our original thoughts of tube diameters is different than what they are using. MMW doesnt have this info on their site, so I have no way of knowing, other than to send them an email or something.

Hey DRaxas Vp: Why dont you do your own R&D.
We spent months working on ours. If not you can always buy one and copy it.
Cant Beat em? Copy em..

I do not work for either company, there for I will not get into a conflict with the two companies.

This thread is about the DraXas header, and I will stay on that topic.

BrEaK_AwaY - do you know what draxas plans on doing about the cel issue? Since we already have the spipe we would need to drill a hole and mount the antifouler correct?

there would be no need to drill anything. you would be able to use the spark plug adaptor antifouler method, or the anti fouler that MMW sells which is in an "L" shape. the antifouler would screw into the spipe, and the sensor into the antifouler. for some people, the anti-foulers still dont work, and some owners end uo relocating their bung behind the cat (or futher down the pipe).
