^^^^ I totallly agree. It is a driver's race for sure. I raced a sunfire in brackets up north... I prefer it over straight up. I guess you would have to with an 18 second car

Thats awesome, now I wont have my muscle car friends picking on me that Scions can't be fast anymore! A full bodied import hitting 12.0 that easily, thats awesome.

However it's still not fast when the slowest guys in your crew run 11.50 and faster. Not to mention you wont really convince many Corvette owners that they made a bad purchase, at the end of the night someone goes home in a 16k Scion and someone else goes home in a 45k chick magnet.... unless you were racing for pinks.

I also have an '00 SS Camaro that comes off the line a little harder than that tC... you feel the G's in the 60'... the image of the 12.0 timeslip wasn't available but the 12.5 run was a 1.9.... stock LS1's pull that easily... my SS with converter is doing low 1.5's... thats some g-force and thats still nothing compared to what it could do squeezing a 150 shot (which it is built to withstand) out of the hole.... hello 1.3!!! Thats some g-force!

It's a RWD V8 with about the same weight and about 2.3 times the displacement, it better be fast. I stil love the finesse and Euro look a tC gives over a Camaro. Everyone has their opinions though and I still respect the V8 guys at the track. It's a tough group to beat.
